Amrit Mahotsav – 75th Independence Day at various Govt Schools at Bangarpet on 15th Aug 2022

Abhyudaya is serving the society with the objective of “Educate, Everyone, Everywhere.” Team Abhyudaya visited remote rural government schools in Bangarpete taluk, Kolar District on August 15^th to celebrate the Amrit Mahotsav – 75^th Independence Day with the underprivileged students in those schools.

Abhyudaya volunteers visited 15 government schools in the villages of Siddanahalli, Thalapalli, Thoppanahalli, Thimmapura, Ukkunda Budikote, Honnenahalli, Nernahalli, Pichahalli, Bodagurki, Karahalli, Byadabele, Bellarahalli, Gollahalli, Mugulbele and Madivala.

All the volunteers were very happy to participate in Flag hoisting and reciting National Anthem with the kids. They were very excited to watch the cultural activities – Dance/Skit/Songs/Drama…etc. performed by the children.

Rakshabandhan was also celebrated to build the bond among students. Abhyudaya volunteers distributed Rakhis, Sweets, Biscuit packets and Fruits to the kids.

Team Abhyudaya honoured the HM, Teachers, Cook, Cleaners and all the Anganwadi staff at the respective schools.

The basic requirements of the students – books, pens, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, scales, tiffin boxes, school bags, and desk kits were distributed to all the students.

The volunteers contributed story books, wall clock, carpets, mats, towels, grocery containers and sports items like chess board, carrom, football, basketball, and also softballs.

To support the hygiene of the school, team Abhyudaya provided hygiene kits, phenyl bottles, dustbins for wet/dry waste, buckets, mugs and bathroom cleaning brushes.

All the school staff, children, locals, youth groups, SDMC members were very happy with the support and they expressed interest in associating with Abhyudaya in the future across all the activities.

After the celebration, all the 200+ volunteers gathered in a volunteer’s home and had a wonderful lunch. After a couple of patriotic songs the volunteers took photographs with the National Flag and the program was concluded by remembering the service rendered by freedom fighters.
